Technology Abusers
Now, I consider myself to be someone who is at least somewhat up-to-date with recent technologies. I am a regular reader of a lot of different tech sites, particularly those focused on emerging mobile technologies. I usually get pretty excited when these technologies hit the mainstream. That being said, nothing bothers me more than seeing people abuse these technologies.
No, I’m not talking about people who toss around their iPhone or who don’t use all the functionality of their Blackberry. Rather, I’m talking about those people who think that now that they have a new Motorola headset that they need to use it everywhere and at all times. Nobody has that many people to talk to! I’d bet you anything that a lot of these people have their headsets on and are talking to no one…
Then there are those people who love email so much that they don’t think they need to pay attention to grammar anymore. Or, because it’s so easy to send email, everyone needs to see the “7 Secrets to a Better Life” email, complete with poorly done photoshopped images and ridiculous captions on photos of animals.
I would like to send these people to Mars where none of this technology would work and they’d have to walk the streets quietly and be forced to listen to other people talk instead of sending them thousands of chain emails.
