Ryan is currently the director of communication at NYSARC, Inc. and was formerly the director of communications at the Workforce Development Institute in Troy, NY and the director of marketing and communications at the American Institute for Economic Research in Great Barrington, MA. Ryan previously worked on the Advanced Media and Emerging Technologies team at ABC/Disney in Burbank, CA.

Ryan graduated from the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University with degrees in Television, Radio, and Film; Psychology; and Political Science. He received a master's degree in Public Affairs and Policy from Rockefeller College at the University at Albany and holds Certificates in Direct Marketing and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) from the Direct Marketing Association (DMA). Ryan currently lives in Rensselaer, NY.
