Iran

I don’t mean to sound “unpatriotic,” but is anyone else getting really worried about us going to war with Iran? I understand why there is concern and, unlike with Iraq, I think the concern is warranted. But is war going to be the answer to a possible nuclear threat? See, the simple solution would be that we all just get rid of our nuclear weapons. Of course, if we do that, we run the risk of another nation keeping some hidden away. Seeing that it’s not a good solution, that leaves the other possibility–making sure that no rogue states get their hands on any weapons of mass destruction. But the problem with that is that an ally today may be an enemy tomorrow and vice versa. So, this is why I’m worried. I don’t want to go to war with Iran. So, if you’re listening Iran, please stop working on nuclear projects. I have no beef with you, I just don’t want something bad to happen. And no, that’s not a threat. I’m just worried that with an administration that is perhaps “incapable” of properly communicating, we’ll end up resorting to physical force rather than trying to negotiate.
