Howie Day Concert

Last night, Emily and I drove down to Rochester to join Adam and Sujata for a Howie Day concert at RIT. It was quite the show. Brandi Carlile opened for Howie. She has a cool sound–kind of like a cross btween Stevie Nicks and Bonni Raitt. Howie put on a great performance, going solo the whole night. If you haven’t seen him with the pedals (or seen him at all), check out his website for tour dates.

To make the night perfect, Adam, Emily, and I stopped by Nick Tahou’s for a delicious garbage plate. Then we drove home in “near-tropical depression” conditions. Of course, both of us had a big test first thing in the morning. Oh well! What’s more “college” than that?
