For the last few days, Eric and I have been trying different routes back to Albany in his Suzuki SX4.  It’s a good thing that it has 4-wheel drive, because some of the roads are pretty bad!  One trip led us pass a true beauty of a home–huge excavation/pond digging in the front yard, a hollowed out bus with a slide for kids, and a fairly large pirate ship with another slide.  Now that’s just special.

Also along this road was perhaps the best side road ever–Bloody Hollow Road.  I mean, come on, don’t you want to live at One Bloody Hall Road?  Can you imagine inviting friends and family over?

Toby and Kayla had fun today checking out my parents’ new Roomba. The Roomba works great, by the way.

As the new year approaches, I’ve decided to make the PWSSM posts a less frequent occurrence, instead of its weekly appearance. No, this does not mean that I don’t think people should be sent to Mars; rather, I’ve just run out of people about which to complain.

This week’s free iTunes single is another holiday tune. It’s not that it’s awful, but it talks about making love in front of the fireplace and how Mr. Sweat wants to be my Santa Clause. Yes, that’s right, Keith Sweat just turned Santa into some sort of metaphor for sex. That’s just wrong… .

While Adam and Suj are out exploring the country, they left their cats, Dora (pictured) and Titus, with by parents. Since we can’t let them mingle with our cats all the time, they have taken up permanent residence in my room. They make for pretty good roommates actually.

This week’s free iTunes single is Hold On by Holy Ghost! The fact that during the entire time that I was writing this post my feet were tapping is a good sign. Catchy beat, a good singer, and a very danceable song make this a hit in my book! A bit repetitive, but what dance song isn’t?

Getting close to the big 6-digits!

While at Emily’s house this weekend, I had the chance to feed the cows again. They didn’t come running like last time, but they sure were hungry. It was fun watching just how much Bingo and Barack have grown since earlier this year.
