Cado’s Growth

As some of you may recall, I’ve been growing an avocado plant, Cado, since Sophomore year. Earlier this Spring, I transferred Cado into a new pot and moved him out of our kitchen and into our living room. Since the pot was quite large, I thought that it would be high enough to get him enough sunlight. Well, apparently, it wasn’t. Cado hasn’t been looking very good lately and I was pretty sure I was going to lose him. However, there is good news:

As you can see, he has some growth! I put him on a big cardboard box which, obviously, elevated him enough to get the sunlight he needed. Now, he has three new leaves coming in and I’m quite excited! I’m glad that he’s showing signs of new life (I’m glad you can’t see the rest of his leaves, they don’t look too great).
