As you all know now, Saddam Hussein was executed on Saturday. Now, I don’t really want to get in an argument with anyone about executions, but wouldn’t it have been more rewarding for everyone to see him rot in jail for years? To me, it always seems like death is an easy way out. I say, shove the man in a hole, feed him just bread and water, and let him think about the years of horrible things he did. That should have been far better justice for his victims than a quick hanging. But, oh well, I don’t think this is a conversation I will ever win. Enjoy your New Year’s Eve!!
