Stir Fry Night

Emily and I finally gave the wok a go tonight and made “Thai it, you’ll like it” chicken from Rachel Ray’s “30-minute meals.”  It was very tasty and we had fun making it!

Treasure Trooper

You may have been wondering for a while now what the link to the right, “Join Treasure Trooper,” is for.  For the last few months, I have been using TreasureTrooper to earn a little money on the side.  Basically, it is a site that pays you to fill out brief surveys and promotional offers.  All I have been doing is filling out the offers that ask for either your email address or zip code.

I have been averaging about $40-$50 a month doing this.  However, most of my money comes from “referrals.”  I haven’t actually been referring people; rather, whenever I complete any offer, I have a chance to play a game where I try to find a pearl.  When I get 8 pearls, I automatically get the next two unreferred members on the site to become my referrals.  I earn 20% of whatever they earn and an additional 5% of their referrals.

In addition, I use a link provided on the page to save 2.5% off of purchases on iTunes.  There’s over 180 stores listed.

If you want to try TreasureTrooper, first click on the link to the right  (so that you can be my referral) and provide them with an email address that you don’t intend on using for anything else.  I would click on the link on the left of the page that says “Cash Offers” and complete the $.50 offers for giving the site your zip code or email address.

There’s a lot of ways to make money on the site, but you have to get into the games that Treasure Trooper has created.

Note: If you’re uncomfortable with giving out your important information, stick to the cheaper offers that pay $.50 for very little work.  In addition, you can fill out a daily survey that pays $.75 each time.

Jeremy’s Visit

Jer and Emily at the Egg
Emily’s other cousin, Jeremy, visited us this wonderful Wednesday. We had a great time playing lots of Mario Tennis, Mario Party, and (real) bowling. We took Jer on a tour of Albany’s down town, getting out of the car to take a walk around the Empire State Plaza. The Plaza gives direct access to the NY State Museum, Governor’s Mansion, the Egg (the theater that Jeremy and Emily are in front of). It was a great day and it’s too bad that he has to leave so soon! (tomorrow morning).

Emily’s mom sent us these adorable pictures of the new calf, Bingo. Make sure to go to the album to see the descriptions.

It’s a…Bingo?

Emily’s parents are the proud new grandparents of a new calf, Bingo. Here’s a picture of Bertha before she gave birth a couple days ago. See how she’s sort of sagging on her right side? (or I guess it’s her left side).
