For the last few weeks, I have been working on a script that I submitted for an anti-smoking public service announcement. After getting script approval, I was donated $350 to get the project done. I gave $150 to NATAS for equipment, $100 to the people involved in getting the project done, and I spent $50 on some software for myself. We shot the footage this weekend and I edited it tonight. It’s been a pretty fun project so far and I hope to submit it to a few contests, if possible. If you want, check out what I’ve done so far by clicking the link below.
From now on, there’s no “New Music Fridays” or “Music of the Week” installments. Just go to the “About Me” page and I will post updated lists. Seriously, I think listening to other people’s favorite music is a good way of finding new artists.
Saw Billy Joel tonight. It was AMAZING! Every song was fantastic. Good Night Saigon was incredibly powerful, Big Shot was a bunch of fun, We Didn’t Start the Fire and Piano Man were as good as you could dream, and, for kicks, someone from his stage crew sung “Highway to Hell” and did a fabulous job with that. Best concert of my life. Awesome!!! Check out the link below the pic to watch “We Didn’t Start the Fire”!

Rumors have it that Apple may be releasing an iPhone on April 1st. Let me tell you this, if Apple manages to combine a phone with an iPod, makes it a clamshell design, and has all the Apple flair, I will be first in line to pick it up. Have to say I’m pretty excited!
Alright, so, which site do you prefer? Let me know.
Unfortunately, the Orange are no longer in the NCAA tournament. But let’s not forget an incredible run in the Big East Championship. Gerry McNamara was a god, hitting 3 huge shots in 3 big games as well as providing invaluable leadership. I think all my fellow seniors should be pleased saying that we were Big East Champions twice, made the NCAA tournament 4 times, and were National Champions once. Pretty impressive!
For the past few weeks, I have been working with John Dau, one of the Lost Boys of the Sudan. We are working together on a video that will serve as a promotional piece for what will hopefully become his lecture series. It’s been an incredible experience looking through his footage and photos. I feel honored being able to look at his reunion with his father after 19 years of being apart.
Syracuse scored a phenomenal 69 points against DePaul on Thursday night. While playing horrible defense, the Orange still managed to get 69 points, including a good game for Gerry McNamara who scored 21 points, most of which came in the second half. Oh wait, I forgot to mention…DePaul had 108. They hit 16 3s and set numerous other records. It was god awful. End of story.
